Start by talking to your agent
or sign up online.
To sign up online, select "Save with DriveTrend" under the
vehicle you’d like on your mobile device, or in the ‘I want to’ drop down
on your desktop. Next, you’ll get an email with instructions
to download the DriveTrend app to your phone.
Register in the App
Once DriveTrend has downloaded on your mobile device, you will need to fill out your registration in the app.
Make sure to use your first name, last name and the email address that matches your East Street Insurance auto policy.
After that, you are ready to go!
Learn Your Driving Habits
Your DriveTrend app will need to get to know your driving habits. You will be asked to confirm or deny if you were the driver during the recorded trips.
If you were the passenger during one of your recorded trips, find the trip on your app, select “Ignore this trip, it wasn’t mine” within 48 hours of the logged drive.
"Too Soon To Score"
When you first start using the app, you may see the message “too soon to score” on your DriveTrend screen. This just means the app is not done gathering information on your driving history.
Once you have recorded enough trips, you should eventually see your star rating on your DriveTrend screen.
Your Stars
After about 10-15 days of recording your trips, you should see a star rating on your DriveTrend screen. The star rating is a scale between 0-5 stars and is determined by your driving habits. It can be seen on the Score portion of your Profile tab on the app.
Achievements
Earn badges like as "Highway Hero", "Road Runner" and "Hill Climber" while practicing positive driving habits. Achievements can be located in your Profile tab.
Leaderboard
Want to find out who the best driver in your house is? Check out the leaderboard to see who has the best score.
Don't Lose Your Discount
If you go 60 days without recording a drive, an email will be sent to you reminding you to start logging your trips. In order to receive this participation discount you must use the app to record trips.
